Friend or Foe...Under God's Graces
Its funny how life changes within matter of seconds. I mean think about it....u can blink and with in the time you blink you can miss the best part of your favorite movie or even miss your flight or bus. Recently I decided to just take a back seat and just evaluate and analyze people, situations and things. Here is what I found...
We all have people in our lives who seem to "fit" at that time. When I say fit..they meet a need or want that we may have. For some it may be some fantasy or desire. Needless to say we encounter these people. But when we encounter these people is it right to dismiss them as soon as we realize they no longer suit our own selfish purposes? Is it right to be active in their lives one minute and then just withdraw yourself the next? It's almost like we treat people like they are material items ; things which we can just discard whenever we feel like with no given notice. That sweater fits real nice and nothing was wrong with it other than it didn't match your shoes...but then one day you see a different sweater that matches your shoes...so you throw the other sweater away. Why? Now some of you are saying no no..heck I wouldn't through the sweater away it was still nice...now replace the sweater with people. Are you guilty? I will admit somewhere in my younger days I was guilty of that somewhat (not to my recollection) but I'm sure I have done it.
Next I found that people will give you advice which we often take. However when the outcome of the advice arrives that friend is not there and you are left feeling hurt and confused. Sometimes we know our situations better than the next person and we have to be accountable and make our own choices which we can own up to. Also I have learned that I am never alone, the lord is always with me so long I believe. I learned to never put my faith in a human being...it should be all given to God. Read John 16:31-32
I am so urked by the drives of human beings...
I have so much more to say but emotions have taken over me right now...so
to be continued...
