Wham It Hit Me
Today I turned on the TV and WHAM it hit me. This world we live in is filled with so much hate and fear. We are afraid to be out at night even if we are standing on our own porch. We are afraid to get on flights. We are afraid to send children to school...Shoot in some cases we are just plain afraid of the children!! I mean it is ridiculous! I learned the other day in church that the true opposite of love is not hate but FEAR; and fear seems to be the atmosphere of the world.
Within 5 minutes of watching the news, I saw a mass murder plot via the airline; I saw brutal shootings in South East DC where 4 people got shot -in fact one person got shot as the police were there processing the paperwork for the first three shootings. The news has never really been my forte because it seemed to be a really morbid forum for spreading bad news. Is there no good going on in the world? So my question is, "Is this world we live in Good and if not, Can it be good at all? The world..Be it Africa, South America, Australia..Where ever...Is FLESH.
We have all been guilty of living in the flesh at some point of our lives. The harsh difference between some and the rest are, most continue to live in the flesh never realizing the error of their ways. All the signs are showing: mother against child, war or the worlds...All of it. Its scary when you can't even take your bath and body works lotion on the plane or even your Soda because some malicious fool has his/her own mode of self destruction and wants to inflict it on the rest of us. A family can plan a trip to Florida just to promote family unity and then boom...The airport. Its so morbid....Its scary.
At this point in my life I do not know which is more scary to me, meeting the devil himself or just living in this world as it is today. Its amazing because I sometimes wish that I lived in another time where the devil was not so prevalent. All of this makes me want to strive more towards remaining within gods graces so that I can one day escape this fleshly world and hit the big pearly gates of heaven.
Oh weeee....Its getting Hot in HERE....Can u feel the heat??
